Jack is now settled into our home and has begun his career as a stud - tough life!

Many thanks to Jennifer and Jean of Broadsway Maine Coons in North Carolina for this delightful boy!

I met Jennifer at the TICA Annual show in Edmonton (Canada) in 2004 where she was showing a beautiful red boy and I think it is appropriate that Jack is descended from the beautiful Broadsway Redding I met that day.

At a Cat show in Hickory, North Carolina on 3rd July 2011, Jack finalled in 9 of the 10 rings with 3 Best Kittens, 2 Reserves, a couple of 3rd's, 4th's and a 5th. He was awarded Best of Breed six times!

Jack's heart will be ultrsasound tested by Dr Brad Gavaghan in 2012

Jack is normal (N/N) for the MyBP-C3 Gene (that is he does not carry the gene which has been associated with HCM in Maine Coons)

Jerry Lee has made a fabulous contribution to Cooncerto with his great boning and sweet nature. He has a fantastic almost carefree coat in a  beautiful shade of red silver.

Jerry Lee has now been retired and is enjoying his life as a pampered pet!!

Many thanks to Suzan and John for our lovely boy!

Jerry Lee is normal (N/N) for the MyBP-C3 Gene

Jerry Lee's heart was ultrasounded by Dr Brad Gavaghan on 7 January 2009, and he received a clear result! :)

He was also ultrasound tested by Brad in September 2010 and was clear of HCM at the time,  although a very small defect in his heart was noted. Brad said that it is most probably congenital and as such would not be passed to any offspring, nor would it affect his quality of life. Since the defect was noted, we have had all Jerry Lee's kittens checked to ensure that there is no heart murmur prior to their leaving home.

He has a great family history of heart health.

Jerry Lee's hips are fair. His girls have excellent hip conformation.

All COONCERTO breeding cats are negative to the MyBPC3 gene.

And in addition, breeding cats and retired ancestors are regularly ultrasounded and certified free of congenital HEART disease by Veterinary Cardiologist Dr Brad Gavaghan.

Their KIDNEYS are ultra sounded and certified clear of PKD and they are x-rayed to ensure HIP CONFORMATION is within the acceptable breed average.

Certificates are published on this website because you need to know and because I am passionate about breeding healthy Maine Coons!
