Gypsy's heart will be ultrsasound tested by Dr Brad Gavaghan in 2012 

Gypsy is normal (N/N) for the MyBP-C3 Gene (that is she does not carry the gene which has been associated with HCM in Maine Coons)

Daffi's heart was ultrsasound tested by Dr Brad Gavaghan in August 2010 and Brad said she has a beautiful heart with no signs of HCM or other heart disease. 

Her parents, grandparents and even great-grandparents have been tested both in Australia and in their countries of origin. Her father Theoden received his fourth clear heart ultrasound on 7 January 2009!

Both Daffi's parents are tested and free of PKD and as this is a dominant inherited disease, Daffi does not need to be tested.

Daffi is normal (N/N) for the MyBP-C3 Gene 

and she has beautiful hips!

Jazz is normal (N/N) for the MyBP-C3 Gene (that is she does not carry the gene which has been associated with HCM in Maine Coons)

All COONCERTO breeding cats are negative to the MyBPC3 gene.

And in addition, breeding cats and retired ancestors are regularly ultrasounded for congenital HEART disease by Veterinary Cardiologist Dr Brad Gavaghan.  

Their KIDNEYS are ultra sounded and certified clear of PKD and they are x-rayed to ensure HIP CONFORMATION is within the acceptable breed average.
